Rob brings a passion for innovation in sustainable seafood. He founded and successfully exited SmartCatch Inc, creating data and hardware tools for commercial fisheries. His background includes big data at UCSF Medical, Xerox PARC, and supply-chain modernization at Whole Foods. He now drives SeafoodAI’s mission for a more transparent, data-driven seafood market.

Bjarni Heimisson

Bjarni is a fisheries-market leader with deep experience in digital transformation. As CEO of Iceland’s national fish auction, he modernized systems managing a large share of the country’s groundfish quota. He also drove advancements in traceability and logistics at Niceland Seafood and the Sea Data Center, bringing strong expertise in fisheries finance and data-driven operations.
